Time Heals All Wounds

My Story

Some souls are born with ink in their veins, and I’ve always been one of them. From my earliest days, I was drawn to the weight of words, their ability to linger, to haunt, to heal. Poetry became my first language before I even knew how to name it. It whispered to me in the quiet spaces between longing and revelation, between melodies and verses. It was where emotion found form, where love, faith, and sorrow wove themselves into something tangible and true.

Rhythm of Rita began as a whisper, a quiet echo of a name I once carried. A name that held both pain and poetry. For a long time, I lived in survival. I was sweet and fierce because I was afraid. I was silent because I was exhausted, and I gave myself away in pieces, not knowing I was meant to be whole. Somewhere in the unraveling, I began to write. Not for performance. Not for applause. But for truth. For breath. For healing. In the verses, in the margins, in the pages of old notebooks, something returned to me, something I had lost while trying to be what everyone else needed me to be.

Rhythm of Rita is more than a publishing company. It is the heartbeat of everything I’ve reclaimed. It is the space where vulnerability is given a voice. Here, grief is not a weakness. It is a doorway. This legacy I am building was born from years of silence, from unspoken prayers, from the weight of generational wounds, and the process of breaking them. This work is rooted in my faith, my femininity, and my fire.

My life has been shaped by the pain of the past and the hope of eternity. I have known the kind of longing that lives in the space between what was and what will never be. I have stood at the crossroads of love and loss, carrying the echoes of those I’ve had to let go of, and through it all, I have been guided by something greater than myself. Faith is the undercurrent of everything I do. It threads through every word I write. It is the mystery in the silence, the hymn in my breath, the calling I cannot ignore. My poetry is an offering, a place where the benevolent and the sorrowful meet and where divinity touches the dust of human longing.

Rhythm of Rita Publishing was born from a desire to give a home to words that feel like prayers, to stories that refuse to be forgotten. Here, words are not just expression. They are a confession, a soft place to land, and a glimmer of light in the midst of darkness. This space is where I build a table for voices, each one unique with their own story to tell. This is my rhythm, this is my return, and while this is my story, I believe it is yours too. If you have ever longed for something just out of reach, or have sensed a glimmer of light within the darkness; if you have ever felt the pull of words that refused to let go, then welcome... you are home.
